Public health is an interdisciplinary field
of study and research. The following list
identifies twenty knowledge domains within
public health. Awareness of the databases
associated with a specific knowledge domain
can be useful when searching the literature.
For example, articles on health services
administration may be located in business-related
databases as well as the health sciences
literature, and articles on health promotion
and education may be located in education-related
databases. See a list of public health databases available to the public.
