  • CSTE Annual 2013 Conference - (Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE))  - June 9-13, 2013, Pasadena, CA. The conference connects public health epidemiologists from across the country and will include workshops, plenary sessions with leaders in the field of public health, oral breakout sessions, roundtable discussions, and poster presentations.
  • The People's Scientific Conference to Promote Health and Eliminate Health Disparities - (University of Florida)  - June 14, 2013, Gainesville, FL. The conference will bring racial/ethnic minority and underserved community members and diverse researchers and health care providers together to learn from and teach each other information that will foster research- and evidence-based interventions to promote health and eliminate health disparities.
  • GIS in Public Health Conference - (Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA))  - June 17-20, 2013, Miami, FL. The conference will focus on advancing the effective use of spatial information and geographic information system technologies across the domains of public health, healthcare and community health preparedness.
  • AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting (ARM) - (AcademyHealth)  - June 23-25, 2013, Baltimore, MD. Forum for health services research, where attendees gather to discuss health policy implications, sharpen research methods, and network with colleagues from around the world.
  • NACCHO Annual 2013 Conference - (National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO))  - July 10-12, 2013, Dallas, TX. The conference will provide an interactive setting for local health officials and their public health partners from around the country to examine strategies, share ideas, and plan actions for sustaining or reinventing their organizations.
  • National Wellness 2013 Conference - (National Wellness Institute)  - July 15-18, 2013, Stevens Point, WI. The conference is a wellness immersion that includes professional development and personal enhancement programs, wellness activities, entertainment, and more.
  • Public Health Informatics 2013 Virtual Event - (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC))  - July 16-18, 2013. This virtual event will provide a zero cost platform for public health partners to share and collaborate with partners all over the globe.
  • ASTHO Annual Meeting - (Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO))  - September 18-20, 2013, Orlando, FL
  • National Health Impact Assessment Meeting: 2nd Annual - (National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI))  - September 24-26, 2013, Washington, DC. This conference will convene policymakers; public health professionals; HIA practitioners; community-based organizations; researchers; decision makers from non-health agencies interested in factoring health into their projects and policies; and others with an interest in learning more about HIAs.
  • APHA 2013 Annual Meeting and Exposition: Think Global, Act Local - (American Public Health Association (APHA))  - November 2-6, 2013, Boston, MA. The meeting is the oldest and largest gathering of public health professionals in the world, including national and international physicians, administrators, nurses, educators, researchers, epidemiologists, and related health specialists.
  • ASTMH 2013 Annual Meeting - (American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH))  - November 13-17, 2013, Washington, DC
  • mHealth Summit - (Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS))  - December 9-11, 2013, Washington, DC. The Summit brings together leaders in government, the private sector, industry, academia, providers, and not-for-profit organizations from across the mHealth ecosystem to advance collaboration in the use of wireless technology to improve health outcomes in the United States and abroad.
  • National Sex Ed 2013 Conference - (Center for Family Life Education (CFLE))  - December 11-13, 2013, Meadowlands, NJ. Conference on sexuality education.

  • AgriSafe Training - The AgriSafe Network aims to provide appropriate and timely training opportunities for Network members and affiliates. Through partnering with the Natioanl Rural Health Association and the Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health, the Network has been able to offer a series of fantastic speakers.
  • Cancer Control PLANET Cyber-Seminar Series - (National Cancer Institute, NIH (NCI))  - The Cyber-Seminar Series brings together researchers and cancer control practitioners to discuss the successes and challenges of translating research into practice. The site includes instructions to register for upcoming seminars and archived seminars.
  • CDC Public Health Grand Rounds - (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC))  - Monthly series to strengthen CDC's common scientific culture and foster discussion and debate on major public health issues.
  • CMED Public Health Grand Rounds - (Department of Community Medicine (CMED), West Virginia University School of Medicine)  - This program offers free preferred continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, public health practitioners, as well as CHES credits.

  • DataSpeak Web Conference Series - (Maternal and Child Health Bureau, Health Resources and Services Administration (MCHB))  - Series of web conferences that feature special topics related to Maternal and Child Health (MCH) data, including children with special health care needs.
  • Dialogue4Health Web Forums - (Public Health Institute)  - Web forums that invite multiple sectors together in conversation on topics that matter to health in its broadest sense.
  • Disparities Solutions Center Web Seminars - (Massachusetts General Hospital)  - Web seminars on disparities interventions, findings from important disparities research, and health policy updates regarding disparities reduction efforts.

  • PREP-inar Series: Emerging Issues in Public Health Preparedness - (National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO))  - PREP-inar series presented by NACCHO's Public Health Preparedness Team include hot topics such as pandemic influenza, medical reserve corps, regional preparedness and more. Archived Preparedness Webinars are available.
  • Register for TRAIN's Web Demonstration - (Public Health Foundation (PHF))  - TRAIN, the premier learning management system (LMS) for professionals and volunteers who protect the public's health, would like to invite public health, workforce development, public safety, and emergency preparedness leaders to a monthly webinar demonstration on TRAIN's functions and features as well as the benefits of utilizing an LMS. The second scheduled webinar will take place on April 29, 2013 at 2-3 pm ET.
  • Third Thursday Breakfast Broadcasts (T2B2) - (University at Albany School of Public Health)  - Third Thursday Breakfast Broadcast (T2B2) is a monthly satellite broadcast series designed to provide continuing education opportunities on public health issues. Broadcasts are free and available to all who are interested in furthering their knowledge of public health.
